I aimed the camera at Jeremiah Chiu while he recorded his EP ‘In Electric Time’ at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum. Most of the record was improvised, save for a cover of The Ghostwriters’ 1986 tune “Rococco Rondo.”
He walked in with kid-in-a-candy-shop energy and immediately started to plan the patching and instrumentation for the cover with engineer Ben Lumsdaine. I enjoyed listening to that process, so this became part documentary, part music video, part gearhead fever dream.
